Big Buck Contest / Wild Game Dinner Committee
Objective: Organize and promote a big buck contest; and plan a wild game banquet for members and contest winners.
By-Laws Committee
Objective: Review By-laws and draft proposed changes as directed by the Board of Directors.
Community Service Committee
Objective: Enhance GLHBA pubic image through community service projects. Committee evaluates potential projects, determines their feasibility, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Education Committee
Objective: Enhance GLHBA membership and provide the general public with pertinent information through the planning and implementation of educational programs.
Golf Outing Committee
Objective: Organize and coordinate annual golf outing for Association members.
Government Relations
Objective: Monitor proposed changes in legislation, ordinances, MIOSHA and BOCA, and rules or enforcement policies.
Holiday Party & Social Events Committee
Objective: Plan for and organize a Holiday party and other outings for association members and guests.
Spring Home Building & Remodeling Show Committee
Objective: Organize annual spring home building & remodeling show where members promote their products and services to the public.
Membership / Retention Committee
Objective: Develop membership incentive programs to assure growth of the association through recruitment of new members; monitor membership renewals; and develop programs to encourage members to renew membership.
Parade of HomesSM Committee
Objective: Promote the concept of home ownership and the purchase of new homes. Committee plans and organizes the Parade, including contracts, guidebooks, site signs, arrows, advertising and promotion of builders, associates and the association.
